WELCOME

Welcome to the Web Site of People to People International  Värmland, Sweden Chapter   Promoting world peace and international communication and tolerance has been and is an ongoing global effort: but now, it is more important than ever. Change can take years and years, but one must start somewhere. Anyone can make a difference, no matter how small.   Our goal is, of course, to carry out programs for all ages, but our main focus for now is on initiating programs for children and youths. We firmly believe that we need to instill the vision, values and beliefs set out by our PTPI's founding father, the late President Dwight D. Eisenhower, as early in life as possible. Though it has become quite trite to use the phrase “Our children are our future”, it still holds true.   It is an honor to be a part of the PTPI global network working towards promoting peace through understanding.   On behalf of the PTPI Värmland Chapter Board and Members, I would like to extend a warm welcome and invite other PTPI chapter members and their family and friends to Sweden.   Welcome to Värmland and Sweden!      Antoinette Mc Intyre-Andersson Founder of People to People International Värmland
